Georgia Trip

We just got back from our (sort of ) vacation. Trevor had to go to Atlanta for work, to take some classes, and since we just happen to have friends 30 mins from Atlanta, we made it a family outing. The kids and I hung out with Monica and her kids, while Trevor went to classes and Bob went to work. It was a lot of fun. I really enjoyed myself and also got some great new ideas for dresses.

The kids were glad to be home, but also wanted to go back the next day. Even Glorianna was saying "Zack's house?" whenever we got into the van to go somewhere. It was so cute.
Azariah decided he needed something to remember his trip by, so while we were there he decided to get into a "bike wreck". The B's driveway is very sloped. Perfect for riding on toys down the driveway. You dont have to do much work. Just hold up your feet and down you go. Well on one such day, the boys were all outside racing down the driveway. Azariah was on a small riding toy and on the way down the driveway, ran over a waterhose and flipped his toy. He scrapped his face up very badly and got a small cut on his forehead. I didnt' take a picture of it that day, but here's a picture of it a few days later. It actually looks a lot better in this picture then it did when it happened. Of course, he's also covered in bandaids as well and you can't see the scatches on the side of his face. It was pretty bad....he looked like he'd been in a fight. Did i mention that he was also barefoot when this happened? His feet look worse then his face.

The highlight of the trip was on Saturday...both our families , as well as 2 more, went to a puppet show. It was a blast. We saw "Brer Rabbit and Friends" true southern style. LOL! If there was one of those theartre's near our house, Im sure we'd have a membership. We were not allowed to take pictures tho, so sadly i have no pics of the event. Oh well.

Bob also introduced us to the "Varsity"...the biggest fast food place I've ever seen. Way to many people in one place. But that's Atlanta for you. The kids loved the icecream, but I was glad we only went for dessert. The food was no good at all. Sorry to all you southerners, but that's a fact. It's not some place i'll be returning to anytime soon.

The eariler part of the week was spent hanging out and sewing. I loved that part. Monica and I were even able to squeeze in going to the Children's Place outlet mall a couple of evenings. =)
Glorianna, Kaylee and Zoe all had a blast doing "flips" in the livingroom. It was so cute to watch them. Zoe is the best flipper of them all. She also loves to jump, so when they weren't flipping, the girls were all jumping around the livingroom. (i'll upload the video if i can get trevor to show me how).

Well, that about sums it up i guess. We're back home now and trying to get back on schedule. Thanks again, guys, for letting us stay with you and not kicking us out.
