Indianapolis Children's Museum

This past Saturday, we took the kids up to Indy to visit the Children's Museum. We've been wanting to go for a while now, and were blessed with 2 coupons (1 free kid with adult admission) so both the boys got in for free. We still had to pay for Glorianna but at least we didn't have to pay for all 3 kids.

The Lego man welcomed us upon entry. Much to the boys delight.

In the Dinosaur section of the museum, Glorianna sits on some eggs, eagerly waiting for them to hatch.

Ferocious Riah doesn't want anyone to steal his eggs.

Zion knows how to keep the egg stealer's away.

While inside the mummy's tomb, Glorianna builds an Egyptian house while the boys and i search for clues about the mummy. We found out her name, how old she was, how much she weighed, how tall she was, where she lived and that she even walked with a limp. Very interesting.

Towards the end of the day, I took Glorianna to the Toddler's play area. We had only been there for about 20 mins when Trevor decided it was time to go home. She did not want to leave. She was upset about her playtime being cut short and that she couldn't take this duck with her. She loves ducks and latched onto this one the moment we got in there. So what do you do with a screaming toddler while trying to exit the museum?? Just smile and act like nothing is wrong. =)

All in all it was a fun day. The kids had a blast and are already planning the next trip. But the parents on the other hand.....With 5 floors to explore and only 5 hours to do it it (that's how long we were there for) we figure that we wont be going back any time soon. It was defiantly nicer then our local Science Museum, tho.

Updates

Azariah is doing a lot better now. He seems to be back to his old self. It took him a full week to fully recover, but praise the Lord, he is now back to normal. Thanks everyone for your prayers.

In othernews...School is doing good. We've been taking monday's off, since they are so busy for me anyway, but even with taking a week off for Riah's recovery, we're still just a tad bit ahead. So we're doing very well. The kids are loving it.

My sewing business is keeping me pretty busy. I've been getting lots of requests for culottes and pantaloons. Those seem to be the most popular. Anyway...im getting enough orders to keep my busy but not so many taht im swamped. SO that's good.

Trevor and I took the kids to the Indianapolis Children's Museum on Saturday. I'll post some pics and info about that trip a little later. TTFN

Azariah

Azariah has to have his tonsels and adnoids out . So his surgery was this morning. While having that done, they also tested him for allergys . That test came back all negative. Thank the Lord.

He is doing well after his surgery, but is still very tired and worn out. The doctor said it could take up to 10 days for him to feel back to his old self. The first couple of days are going to be the worse. I have to keep fluids down him and soft foods, but other then that he needs rest.

Thanks to everyone who has prayed so far, and continue to pray for his quick recovery.

I'll keep you all posted on his progress as things get better.

Happy Anniversary

August 12, 2000, Trevor and I said "I do".

And now...8 years and 3 kids later, we are still happily married and closer then ever. We have grown so much in the Lord and gotten to know each other so much better then we ever thought possible.

Thanks Sweetie, for the best 8 years of my life. I love you!!!
