Yet Another Difference Between Boys and Girls

It truly amazes me to discover, day by day, the wonderful way God had created us. He designed boys a certain way and He designed girls a certain way. No one has to teach boys to be rough, play cars, dig in the dirt, dissect worms....it just comes naturally.

I have never taught Glorianna to be a homemaker. It just seems to come naturally to her. Sure she seems me cooking and cleaning, but so do my boys. And my boys never show interest in housework. In fact, chores to them is just that...CHORES. Chores to Glorianna, on the other hand, seem to be a fun thing to do. A natural part of her every day life. She is going to be a wonderful wife and mother some day. Until that time comes, she has become a wonderful little helper to me.

God's design is truly amazing and he had given me a wonderful family, for which I am truly thankful.

This is something that confuses me. In my case it is opposite...Christian loves chores and will do anything I ask but change a diaper. AND he does a great job...Susanna on the other hand hates chores..Maybe it is my approach.

I found out with my kids that they like a routine and having things looking "cleaned-up." It creates a good atmosphere in the house.

you are blessed Joanna. My boys could care less. They'd live in a pigsty. Consider yourself blessed to have a boy who likes to be neat. =) Susanna will become that way, I'm sure. I'm actually shocked that Glorianna likes to do chores being as young as she is.

Melissa...routine does help. My kids (boys included) have chores they have to do everyday before any thing "fun" is allowed. So even tho the boys would rather not do chores, they still do them.
